APPEARANCE

HEIGHT:	6'6", 6'9" including horns.
BUILD:	Tall, deceptively lean and elegant.
HAIR:	Long, layered white, reaches lower back.
EYES:	Dark purple sclera, yellow-gold iris, black pupils. At times glow white when casting magic.
FEATURES:	Skin is a gradient of purple-blue. It gets darker in color across his torso and arms, then lightens over his hands and face. There are bright star markings just under both eyes and a larger one at the center of his chest. He also has a scattering of smaller freckle-like constellations across his entire body that glitter and shine. Additionally, he has four fingers on each hand like other elves, and he has a symmetrical pair of twisting, jutting purple horns on his head.
DRESS:	Elegant, flowing, long mage robes, but still comfortable enough to allow movement.

BACKGROUND

Little is known of Aaravos prior to his first appearance, where he was found trapped in a magical mirror and held prisoner by Avizandum, the Archdragon and reigning king of Xadia. He is ancient and powerful, enough that when a Moonshadow elf was shown the mirror, they said its discovery was "worse than death." Avizandum kept it close to where he slept for centuries. Aaravos is responsible for the presence of dark magic in the world, and therefore is a direct influence on the corruption of humankind, as an act of revenge.

PERSONALITY

Charismatic, mysterious, and highly intelligent, Aaravos navigates conversations with ease and wit, though he takes care not to give away secrets. He can be manipulative if he sees use in someone, or even cruel, should there be no reason to play nice. At times prone to humor and amusement, Aaravos is mercurial in his moods. What he feels or thinks is just as much a mystery as the rest of him.

ABILITIES

Aaravos is a Startouch elf, extremely rare and extremely powerful. He is an Archmage with access to all six primal sources of magic (sky, sun, earth, moon, ocean, stars) as well as mastery of dark magic. He is capable of channeling his voice through an animal familiar and creating an illusion of his physical body while locked behind the mirror, using Viren as a vessel. He is persuasive and talented at getting his way.
